Requirements:

In order to participate you must be an APBR Member, pet product or service vendor, pet friendly adoptive organization, needing to re-home a pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier,  wish to offer yourself up as a Transitional Foster Care Home Provider or have a desire help and participate in creating a Pit Assistance Transportation Network used to link up needy Pits and new good homes.

AND

You must have a dedicated URL to your own Web site. If you do not have a dedicated Web site you will need to get one before continuing. PLEASE DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY DEVELOPING A SITE OF YOUR OWN. IT IS EASY AND FREE IN MANY CASES. If you do not have a Web site this can be achieved in just a few minutes by reading the instructions of the hosting service provider. Most make setting up a site as easy as writing an email. We encourage reviewing some of your options here:

Free Web Site Host Resources

or simply type in Free Web Site host in your favorite search engine as indicated in the picture below:

AND

You site MUST contain at least one link back to the American Pit Bull Registry at either our www.PitBullRegistry.com Web site or its mirror www.AmericanPitBullRegistry.com. This cross linking is what helps us in creating a unified network of Endorsed Pit Positive Resources.

To encourage greater viewer ship of your advertising please also develop a picture banner and place on the first page of your site. We will then capture this banner and use it for the link to you. If not banner is provided we will use a simple text link to your site. Taking time to develop such banners however will help insure you receive a significantly greater level of interest and will help give your ad greater recognition and click through. If you are selling pups AND you are representing yourself as a Kennel then you must also be an APBR Certified Kennel. Kennel Certification is free program to our breeding members and comes with many additional benefits.

Once you have met the above requirements please notify us using the form below.

[FrontPage Save Results Component]

In order to properly use this form you must highlight each field and replace with your information. All fields are required accept the Alternate email field.

Current APBR Member YesNo

Please mark all that apply:

  1. APBR Member

  2. Merchant, Service Provider, Vendor etc. Must be related to Pit Bulls or pets in general. Must NOT portray Pit or any other breed in a negative manner and meet our standards of acceptance.

  3. Pit friendly shelter, rescue, etc. (as long as you are Pit friendly please feel free to make your site meet your needs and show all available pet for adoption.)

  4. Re-home assistance request (must be a pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier. Administratively we do not have the capacity to place every dog that is in need of re-homing. We do however encourage review of our other resources as many of them are pet generic or mix breed accommodating.)

  5. Volunteer Transitional Foster Home Care Provider (please only mark this box if you wish to be added to our resource database and used as a contact for such services. We request our Transitional Foster Care Resources to keep focus on pure bred Pit Bulls as this is the class in most danger.)

  6. Volunteer Transport Provider (please only mark this box if you wish to be added to our resource database and used as a contact for such services. We request our Transport Providers to keep focus on pure bred Pit Bulls as this is the class in most need.)

At this point you should have what is known as a URL by a free Web host provider. For rescues, shelters, Certified Kennels and others who have decided they wish to maintain a long term Internet presence you may at this point want to look into paid hosts which offer much greater benefits, site development flexibility and greater search engine recognition.
